TA Tech veteran and all-around amazing human Jason Putnam announced he is stepping into the Chief Executive Officer role at Vetty—a self-described one-stop-shop hiring acceleration platform. Previously, Putnam was the Chief Revenue Officer at Plum and has a track record of successful exits. His appointment is seen as a strategic move to position Vetty for an all-important acquisition.

Seattle-based ConverzAI, a six-year-old startup providing AI-powered virtual recruiters that automate hiring by engaging with candidates via voice, text, and email, has raised a $16 million Series A round. The round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Left Lane Capital, Foundation Capital, and Afore Capital.
